Proposal: PPT-380000-2008-5 | Awarded: 18.12.2008
Research project funded by the Ministry of Science and Innovation in the collaborative applied investigation in projects category within research projects within the instrumental line of action of R & D National Plan of R & D 2008-2011, on the optimization of the cross section typology of rail infrastructure in complex hydric areas from the environmental and economical points of view, depending on the terrain, the geological-geotechnical and natural value of the area in which to settle.
An analysis of environmental and orographic variables is required to consider the different typologies sections. We have developed a methodology for assessing the considered economic and environmental units, determining the type sections of the lowest cost and minimum environmental impact throughout the track.
